Episode 1: Patient Story when things go wrong in the NHS

My Patient Story is about my daughter Jessica Rae Rudland. Jessica no longer has capacity and no recollection of the events which led to her life changing injuries and catastrophic outcome. It is a story of discovery, despair, love, loss treachery and learning. I am her voice and tell her ‘patient story’. She was just 23 years old when she suffered problems with a heart arrhythmia, otherwise healthy, she was 8 months pregnant with her first child.
